Tisdale's Annual Pumpkin Fair

Wednesday, october 6th at 3pm

Join us with your kids after school to celebrate fall on Tisdale’s front lawn!

Purchase pumpkins

Enjoy Donuts and Apple Cider

Cute fall display for photo ops

Plus a Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Drop off your decorated pumpkin at the Tisdale front door that morning so it can be out on display for the fair. Pumpkins will be voted on and the winner will receive a gift card!

TRUNK OR TREAT

Thank you Tisdale community! What an amazing night! We hope all your little ghouls and goblins had fun!

Come join us on Monday, June 5th at the Shannon Rose from 7-10pm (in the back bar).

Local Ramsey band, Blend, will be playing. Appetizers will be served.

$15 per ticket - covers the entertainment and appetizers

(alcohol is not included - guests are responsible for their drink tabs at the bar). Plus we'll be giving away a 10-Pack of Guest Passes to the Ramsey Pool as a Door Prize to one lucky winner (must be present to win)!

THIRD GRADE YARD SIGNS

Attention Third Grade Parents:

Celebrate your child's graduation from Tisdale and purchase a customized yard sign for your soon-to-be 4th grader!

Signs are $20 each.

COLOR RUN

Friday May 19th

Students will have a blast running laps around the field while volunteers douse them in non-toxic color powder. At Tisdale, our colors DO run strong -- for our community!

There will be two sessions - please choose 1 to attend as a family:

6:30-7:15pm - Pre-K, K & 1st Grades

7:30-8:15pm - 2nd & 3rd Grades

FAMILY BINGO NIGHT

Space is Limited: Register early to secure your spot:

-Session 1: 6:30 - 7:15PM for PK, K & 1st graders

-Session 2: 7:30 - 8:15PM for 2nd & 3rd graders

*If you have children in both groups, please choose ONE session to attend.

This holiday season we will be gifting our teachers and staff with a Holiday Lunch and other fun holiday surprises! We are asking families to please donate money in order to purchase lunch and treats.

Basketball Clinic

Register through Dec. 16th. This program begins Sat, Jan. 7th and runs for 6 weeks.

We are so happy to be able to offer this very popular program again! The clinic will once again be run entirely off-site at STACK Basketball Club in Mahwah by STACK staff (not parent volunteers), and is a drop-off program.

The clinic is open to Grades K-3 and will combine Tisdale & Hubbard students.

Thanksgiving Pie Sale

The Tisdale PTO is selling award-winning Carousel Cakes & Pies, just in time for Thanksgiving! Check it off your holiday to-do list & support your school…

Pies and cakes come frozen, so stock up and serve them for the winter holidays and beyond! There are many nut-free options, and you can also donate an apple or pumpkin pie to a local family in need for Thanksgiving.

Pick up will be after school on Monday, November 21st on Tisdale's Front Lawn and at Aftercare

Cleaning out old holiday supplies?

The Tisdale PTO Decorating Committee would love to take them off your hands! We can use them to decorate the front lawn throughout the year, and beautify the entrance to Tisdale for our students and families to enjoy.

MEET THE MASTERS!

Meet the Masters is a volunteer art appreciation program for Grades K - 3, that seeks to cultivate an interest in art by exposing children to selected prints of master artwork. Parent volunteers will present a work of art to their child's class on a set day.

COAT DRIVE

October 4 - October 7

To help support the Ramsey Responds Coat Drive, we are asking Tisdale Families to please donate any new or gently used winter coats for this collection. There will be a box located in the Tisdale Main Entrance where you can drop off between Tuesday, October 4th and Friday morning, October 7th.

JOSH FUNK IS COMING TO TISDALE!

This year's Author Visit with Josh Funk is scheduled for Monday, May 1, 2023. You can purchase his books and have them autographed and personalized.

Book sales begin on March 20th and will end on April 4th.

*Please note that all autographed books must be pre-ordered through the PTO site*

Students may not bring their "own" books purchased elsewhere and ask to have them signed.

AUTHOR VISIT & BOOK ORDER

Tisdale is excited to welcome Derek Anderson, Children's Book Author, Illustrator & Speaker, for our annual Author Visit on May 5th. You can purchase his books through the PTO website in advance and have them autographed and personalized with your child's first name! Books will be distributed following the Author Visit.
