Background Checks

Thank you so much for volunteering to be a Room Parent, and/or assisting with our Website.  

The Board of Education requires a background check for those volunteers who are likely to be working with students while not under the direct supervision of District Staff.   

Background Checks are valid for 5 years. If you are unsure whether you have an up-to-date background check, please confirm this FIRST before submitting the form. You can do a quick search in your email for "Ramsey Background Screening by NCSI." If you have a previous Background Check on file, you'll be able to see the date of when it was submitted. If you're within the 5 year window, you are all set. If not, please submit a new one. 

To start your background screening, please complete three easy steps:

Step 1:  Go to

Step 2: Sign into an existing SportsEngine profile, or follow the prompts to create a new profile

Step 3: Provide Legal Authorization and Certification

*If you're still unsure of your Background Check status after searching your email, you can email the Tisdale PTO to confirm.
